...I have spent most of this past week on and off the mountain above where I live...
...I happen to live near a very beautiful area called the Feather River Canyon... my father-in-law has a gold claim up the mountain and I have been up there cutting firewood to put away for the winter... it has been very spiritually uplifting...
...the claim is the site of a town from 1851 carved onto the side of a very rugged area accessible at the time only by foot or mule... within the mountain are ancient river channels that were buried by valcanic activity at various times in the geologic space of millions of years...
...Pat is required to do assesment work each year to continue the claim... he is 79 years old...
...we had to clear an access road of brush and rocks from storms to get in by 4 wheel drive...
...at night after working he would fill my head with just a fraction of what is in his... he has been working at the claim since he was a very young boy... his dad and grandfather worked the claim at that time... when of age he went off to college and got a degree in geology and mining...
...I heard many tales of the olden times... when at one time there were over 3,000 people living perched on the side of the mountain... everywhere there are small leveled off places that were just large enough to hold a tent or a tent size cabin... rows and rows of "streets" that were just ledge-trails... at one time there were stores and a dance hall and all the amenities... even a dentist ! ( that was someting for a town to be proud of)... all was lumber, equiptment, and supplies were cut on site or carried in on pack animals... kind of like a scene from the old movie, " Paint Your Wagons" !... the site has a lot of apple trees that are from the miners... two trees are 150 years old !...
...fortunes were taken from out of the mountain when gold was $32 an ounce ( it has now topped $1100 ! )... during the winter all food was packed in and a miner had to make a half ounce of gold a day just to eat !... today that would be like a days food would cost $550 !...
... there was plenty of time to take breakes from the wood cutting and I was able to go off and meditate and connect with the Mountain Davas... it is very beautiful there now with the fall color... Mountain Maples, Black Oaks, Dogwoods all surrounded by the Evergreens of the Doug Firs and Ponderosa Pines... crisp air in the mornings... rain storm Friday...
...I was able to connect with the Gold Devas and instantly connected with all Gold everywhere on this World... in the ground or helping mankind in circulation... we vibrated with energy of prosperity and healing for all...
...I could tell that Spirit put me up on the Mountain this past week for this purpose... wood cutting was just the excuse to get me there...
